Overview
Huang Tingjian’s cursive calligraphy flows like water, roaming freely across the page: tilted, variable, and unrestrained. In his masterpiece, Zhu Shangzuo Tie, extended brushstrokes unfold with vitality, each character alive in motion. The composition sways with dynamic rhythm, while the distinctive interweaving of dots and lines creates a continuous visual tension that deeply fascinates me. I created a three-dimensional moving image to express the unique rhythmic and aesthetic qualities embedded in this piece.
