While passing by Longchang Apartment one day, I was drawn to its distinctive sense of everyday life and warmth. At the time, I had been closely following the works of Adam Elliot, which sparked an idea: perhaps digital techniques could be used to simulate the visual language of stop-motion animation, recreating a small world rich in handcrafted textures to capture the rare simplicity and sincerity of Longchang Apartment.
